We’re not going to beat around the bush here. Cults has been one of our favorite bands for quite some time now. When news dropped today of their upcoming tour and album pre-order, we hopped, skipped, and jumped from our split posts at Meltasia to make sure to get this into the hands of someone who could post the news and get our thoughts out there.


With the approach of their latest album, Offering, Cults reached out to Elliot Sellers, who has recently lent his visual storytelling skills to folks such as ZHU, Bastille, TY Dolla $ign, Portugal, The Man, Knife Party and others who have become darlings of the current music era. Sellers paints the track in a ethereal style that strides the line of the bands current indie-pop sensibilities while keeping one foot firmly in the band’s “rougher” roots. The video marks Cults return to aural prominence after a four years after their last LP release, Static.
